I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
